Total Curriculum

In looking back over the past year I see how many different Web 2.0 tools I have used. My goal a year ago was to integrate technology throughout the schools curriculum.. The Wiki I collaborated on with two classmates shows the plan for the Total Curriculum.

Glogster

Creating a Glog is a great way to link to websites that illustrate a subject. Students enjoy making their own Glog. This along with podcasts are an alternate way of assessing what students know. Visit my Glog.

Live Stream

The closed circuit video was not implemented but we did create an account with Live Stream to broadcast weekly video announcements. Much work is required to coordinate all of the students who want to be involved.

Student Podcasts

The fifth grade students are working on their podcasts to embedd in their Wiki about volcanoes, earthquakes and plate techtonics. Podcasts

Podcasts are an easy way to engage the students with that can bring book reports alive, explain a math problem, present a science project, or interview a famous person.
I created a podcast of my students explaining the use of Wikis as alternatives for textbooks. Visit totalcurriculum.pbwiki.com and click the podcast.
